Randy believes the number one goal for educator should be helping students learn how to judge themselves.
How crucial do you think this is i the learning process? Have you flied on feedback loops in your own life? Has anyone ever told you that you were being a jerk?
I believe it's good being told that you were doing something wrong. I've been told I've been irrational sometimes but never a jerk. I've always tried to maintain being a nice person. It's crucial to the learning process because you need be able to see the flaws in yourself so that you can reflect on times when you've been out of hand.

ReplyDeleteI think that it is very crucial in the learning process cause than you know where you are. Yes I have listened to feedback before, but have not always followed it, & yes I have been called a jerk before.
ReplyDeletei think this is a very good lesson to be learned because if you are a undisciplined chilled might be very rude towards others, and be known for being a jerk or a bad person. so if you weren't trained right by your parents or others. it would be good to know yourself so you can see what your doing wrong, and trying fixing your attitude as yourself.
ReplyDeletei guess i haven't been called a jerk or anything like that I'm just mostly a humble guy and very lay back and i don't really worry about much and don't let thing get to me that would make me a jerk.

This is very crucial because people will judge you for the rest of your life no matter what you do. If you learn to judge yourself then when other people say it you will already know whats coming and before they say it, your already fixing that fault.
ReplyDeleteIn the learning process I think that it is the most crucial part because sometimes you can make a mistake in life and learn from it. I get a ton of feedback from my family when I am being a jerk. My family and friends always when I am being a jerk which is nice so I don't go throughout life not knowing.
