Chapter 35: Start By Sitting Together

Have you ever had trouble working in groups? How might Randy's tips help you get along better with others in the future?

  1. In groups, I don't really get along with everyone. Usually people will take advantage of me and give me the hardest portion of something to do, and yell at me when I don't have it done. Or, for example, I had two things left to do on a project; they called my teacher and asked for my phone number because I didn't answer my phone. It was just ridiculous and made me so mad, but Randy taught me to just be calm and let people be people. You can't change someone and you definitely can't change someone when they act a certain ridiculous way like that. Just be yourself and mind your business.

  2. At first it is hard working in groups because everyone wants to do the easy part and that everyone might not get along. Some of the members can take advantage of each other. Everyone can be ridiculous in every way.

  4. It depends on who is in your group. You cant always choose who you pair up with so you learn to deal with it and let them be them

  5. I would say when i'm in group. I always communicate with my group, to get the section that i'm the strongest in. also on top of that i'm always a social person so i get along with usually everybody in my group.

  6. I do not work in groups very well. I never did work in groups very well. I do not know why maybe because I can work better alone, and i get more done alone.
