Chapter 21: Jai
It is clear in the book that Randy and Jai have a deep love for one another. And yet, like other married couples, they've had to work hard on their relationship. Randy's illness created additional challenges. By reading about how they've faced the issues between them, what did you learn about getting along with others, about mutual respect, and about the power of love?

Getting along with others is a very crucial thing in the growing up process. It means you can be mature and not be stubborn about speaking to a person you wouldn't normally speak to. Mutual respect is received when it is given which is a very rewarding feeling. Also, the power of love will do crazy things to do. It can make you sick, it can make you weak at your knees. It's an amazing, yet terrifying feeling falling in love.

DeleteMy grandma always show other respect. About love that my grandma said never go anywhere with saying goodbye, I love you to your love ones because you never know it might be there last day. Love is a power thing and make you do things that you never did before. You should always try to be nice to everyone and try to get along with other.

there are some challenges that people will have to face in a relationship if there partner gets a terminal illness, chronic disease, and major disability like becoming paralyzed. also if you fell in love with someone you should always have respect towards them and if you don't why do you even love that person. also if you have true love with someone you can love then for everything they are and if something happens to them you'll still love them because there still that person. just have some body issues.

if your nice to people and help them and stuff they will respect you and do the same. The could also help you for job references and that can be very important. You don't want to burn the bridges that could help you in the future.

I've learned that you have to work at your relationships if you want them to keep going. Also that it i important to get along with others even if you don't agree with them because when you get out of highschool, you are going to have to deal with a lot of different people, & you may not like all of them.

The strongest thing on earth is love, i don't mea to be corny but think about it you can end war, hunger, hate, est. with alittle love. its even more effective then bullets and soldiers. i feel in these pages of this chapter they show how they could get through anything cause they loved eachother above anything.

Even with all the issues they faced with his terminal illness and all the other things they still show respect to each other. And I learned that no matter what you should always try to get along and have that mutual respect for each other. And the power of love is an amazing power because love cant change someone, but it sure can heal a lot of hurt and pain but love is something that everyone should want because it makes you feel special and wanted and loved.
