Chapter 11: The Happiest Place on Earth

Throughout the book, Randy says: "Brick walls are there for a reason. They're not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something."

What are the brick walls you've faced in your own life? How did you get over them?

  3. I had to ask my parents to get it and wait for it when I wanted now.
When I wanted something I had to get it and pay for it myself.

  4. My brick wall that I have overcome was definitely the passing of my brother. Not having a close person around you 24/7 makes life very difficult and challenging. For a while I was in denial about the whole thing. I still function differently than I used to, and I try to be strong but it's hard.

  5. My brick wall I am facing is my learning disability. it is embarrassing for me to go down to the resource room for tests when everyone else can stay and take their test in the regular room. but, it's something that i am going to have to face and get used to and not have it bother me.

  9. A brick wall in my life that I got over was learning about computers, the components, how to build them, and choosing the most efficient parts. I got over this by doing tons of research.
