Randy says parents don't realize the power of their words: "Depending on a chid's age and sense of self, an offhand comment from Mom or Dad can feel like a shove from a bulldozer." Have you ever felt that way?
What are the vital messages to be drawn from the way Randy is saying goodbye to his kids, and from the tangible (physical) things he is leaving behind for them?
I have felt like that many times before. He wants them to be happy even when he is gone.

ReplyDeleteyes I have felt like this in many different occasions. And Randy wants them to know that he loves them oh so much and he wants the best for them even though he is not there.
